What I Do
Cinematography
Over my many years in the field I've achieved a high level of experience utilizing varying equipment including: DSLRs, video cameras, studio cameras, tripods, gimbals, sliders, dollies, tracks and I'm also a licensed drone operator.
Video Editing
I've worked in all the major film editing softwares, but I'm native to the Adobe Creative Suite. I've edited a number of different styles including: commercials, product overviews, tutorials, explainer videos, company culture videos, testimonials, highlight reels, and more.
Scriptwriting / Storyboarding
Nearly every project I've worked on, I have also scripted and storyboarded. Past employers have said time and time again that I possess a strong capability to convey complex ideas in easy to understand ways.
Motion Graphics
Many of the projects I've worked on had no opportunity for filming live people/objects, which has led me to achieve excellence in motion graphics animation. Motion graphics editing in After Effects is what made me fall in love with video editing in the first place.
3D Design & Animation
Although I have worked in other 3D softwares such as Maya and 3DS Max, I am native to Cinema 4D. Since 2018, 3D animation has been at the forefront of most of my corporate produced videos. Over the past few years, I've continued to improve upon this skill, making animations more and more photorealistic by the day.
Lighting
3-point-lighting, back-lighting, rim-lighting, softboxes, fresnels, kickers, tuff-spun - I've always been a huge nerd when it comes to lighting. Lighting is what separates professional productions from your everyday youtube video. I've even had the opportunity to work on the lighting crew for a few feature films.
Audio Engineering
Another, often overlooked, important element of video production is sound design. I originally began this journey pursuing music production until realizing my strong passion for video, which has granted me an equal skillset in each area. Sound design is what creates the mood for each video and should never be discounted. I use a combination of Adobe Audition and Avid Pro Tools.
Sound Recording
I've recorded everything from multi-person interviews to 8-piece bands. I also have a great deal of experience with foley-work. Many viewers can typically stand a low-resolution video, but to most people, low quality audio is intolerable. In order to ensure proper audio quality, the right audio recording equipment needs to be selected and the audio isolated from any unwanted noise.

I've invested over $20,000 in marketing training and mentoring post-college to further enhance my capabilities. With this excessive influx of knowledge I've gathered nearly all the skills necessary to a marketing department including: SEO, lead generation, PPC, web development and more. I'm always happy to wear multiple hats in any position I hold at a company - variety is the spice of life!
